This is not your average tour of Sierra Leone—it’s a soul-stirring homecoming that weaves together history, healing, and hope with every step. The Heritage and Legacy Tour invites you to walk in the footsteps of our ancestors on Bunce Island, where oral historians share stories of resilience and resistance.  It provides a unique opportunity to address the difficulties faced by many communities around the world.  You will visit Tasso Island, a community of 5,500 residents where SierraAfrica Diaspora Connect is working to improve access to electricity, clean water, sanitation, and internet. During your visit, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Tasso Island.   This tour is a journey with a purpose! Every tour helps fund a project that brings light, clean water, and educational and economic opportunity to historic Tasso Island.

During this tour, we will capture endangered oral histories and archive them for museums and future generations.
